During Cyberpunk 2077 production I was involved in tech-art related topic which is destruction. I created the destruction tools in Houdini (based on initial ideas given by Maciej Jurgielewicz) which are procedural fracturing of selected meshes, simulating and creating LODs for them. Having these tools I could create assets quickly because most of work was done procedurally and automatically. Also, I had a chance to improve pipeline. It was a very enjoyable and challenging task. I have learnt a lot and I think I really like proceduralism.
I have prepared destruction of Konpeki Plaza which is destructible boxy planters.
